Workload cost calculator

Choose a model and enter native token counts to inspect projected cost. Or read the charges in an OpenRouter log locally.

A projection is not a bill. Missing prices or unsupported billing rules stay unavailable.

Start with one goal

Plan usage

Enter native tokens for each model. Output includes hidden reasoning. Equal token budgets across models do not imply equal text or answer lengths. One task may involve several requests.

Replay a saved calculation

Check a receipt locally

Downloaded evidence preserves public source bytes, their SHA-256, the endpoint, decimal rates and your numeric profiles. Replay checks the content hash and repeats the arithmetic locally. A hash identifies content; it is not a vendor signature.

Arithmetic and formulas

Native input includes all cache categories. Billed output already includes reasoning.

Uncached input = total input − cache reads − cache writes
Basic / read request cost = uncached input × input rate
+ cache reads × read rate
+ billed output × output rate
                         + published request fee
Workload cost = sum of (profile cost × identical requests)

Rates are USD per token. Divide per-million prices by 1,000,000. Unreconciled writes, conditional prices, discounts and separate reasoning prices block complete totals. Each result's Show calculation displays exact quantities and amounts.

No log, token counts or receipt is attached automatically. Supply public evidence; keep keys and private content out of feedback.

Sources, supported scope and accuracy

Rule version . No real private billing fixture has been provided. Basic text and cache-read formulas are available; cache writes, conditional prices, discounts and different reasoning rates remain gated. Media, tools, batch, combined BYOK bills, purchase fees and taxes are outside the projection. Do not treat synthetic arithmetic tests as billing validation. Provider endpoints are not the dashboard's independently minimized prices. Default, contributor and service tiers are explicit; a saved result stays frozen when rates refresh.
